Digby Brown

Do you find yourself looking for a new challenge? Do you want to develop your finance skills further and explore the possibility of working in a legal environment? If so, maybe it’s time to consider a career with Digby Brown.

As the firm continues to expand and grow, we are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join our Finance team in the Glasgow office, on a full-time, permanent basis. We think you could be that individual.

The successful candidate would be based in our bustling city centre flagship office that acts as the headquarters of our firm - more than 100 staff are based here, making this the largest Digby Brown office. From here, we have helped hundreds of people across Glasgow and surrounding areas secure rightful compensation after an accident or injury which was not their fault.

In this exciting role, you will perform a key function within the finance department, working alongside colleagues in the team to provide efficient support across the business – helping to ensure that our legal teams can provide the best quality service possible, for our clients.

In joining the team, you will benefit from its expertise, experience, resources, and reputation, as you embark upon an exciting new chapter in your career in a very challenging and rewarding Law Firm.

We want you to ask yourself…

  • Do I have experience in making client payments – raising fee notes, generating letters, and posting and payments to ledgers?

  • Do I have knowledge of banking procedures and bank reconciliation?

  • Do I have strong generalist financial experience, with an ability to process a high volume of invoices and deal with all other cashroom associated tasks?

  • Am I an enthusiastic individual with strong, client-focused communication skills?

  • Do I have a keen eye for detail and the ability to act on my own initiative?

  • Can I be a team player - someone who can manage their own workload, whilst also supporting colleagues to ensure the overall success of the department?

If the above resonates, and helping people really matters to you, we want you to apply for this post. To do so, please send your CV and covering letter to David Hendrie, by e-mail at David.Hendrie@digbybrown.co.uk.
