Legal cashier – Part time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an assistant legal cashier to join our well-established high-street firm on a part time basis for 2 ½ days a week. Full days must be on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Key skills/responsibilities:

  • Legal Accounting Efficiently handle all financial transactions, including client and office account payments, receipts, and transfers. Investigating and resolving discrepancies.

  • Bank Reconciliations Assist with regular and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.

  • Reporting Assisting with generating monthly financial reports and in the preparation of the annual accounts.

  • General Assistance with banking duties, performing ad hoc duties such as occasional reception duties as and when required.

Personal specifications:

  • Experience Legal and Accounts experience required

  • Skills Strong numerical skills, proficient in using a practice management software and have a high attention to detail

  • Education Relevant qualifications are advantageous
